Benefits of Skin Tightening with Embrace RF
Make your face and neck look better than ever before! With Embrace RF, a state-of-the-art technology that’s designed for subdermal adipose remodeling of the face and neck, you can contour the face, reduce fat on the skin or neck, promote skin retraction, and target the layers of your facial skin to promote your body’s own natural anti-aging process. This skin tightening in Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia is highly recommended, making you look younger.
Candidates for Skin Tightening with Embrace RF
Do you notice that your neck, cheeks or jowls sag? Have you thought about fillers or even a facelift or mini facelift? Skin tightening with EmbraceRF could be the perfect option for you! EmbraceRF is comprised of three specific handpieces that address a wide variety of concerns.
At our practice, we offer 3 different modalities of Embrace RF, and all 3 treat their own facial and neck presentations. These modalities are:
AccuTite
Patients choose AccuTite, a focal RF treatment that doesn’t require excisional surgery, when they want a minimally-invasive procedure to improve the appearance of their face and/or neck. The modality helps patients with facial contouring and skin remodeling. The treatment option is great for Chevy Chase men and women who would like fat reduction or skin contraction performed quickly in Dr. Porter and Dr. Sitapara’s office. Requiring only local anesthesia, and AccuTite treatment takes about 20 minutes to complete. Common treatment areas include the eyes, neck and jowls.
FaceTite
This technology helps men and women improve the appearance of their face and necks and, for many, is considered the next best thing to a surgical facelift. FaceTite works in the subdermal plane of the face and neck to recontour patients’ skin. You will achieve surgical like results without the scaring or downtime.
Morpheus8
Help promote the body’s natural anti-aging process on your face and neck with a little bit of help from Morpheus8. This fractional skin treatment stimulates your body’s natural collagen production to tighten up the facial skin and fill in wrinkles. Morpheus8 can also help improve areas of the face and neck where acne or skin discolorations are present. Morpheus8 can be used all over the body to improve skin laxity, but it can also help to improve the appearance of acne scars, surgical scars, wrinkles and stretch marks. Morpheus8 radiofrequency microneedling can even be used on the jowls and the neck to reduce areas of excess fat.
If you have one of the conditions that these modalities treat, then this procedure may be right for you.
Cost of Skin Tightening with Embrace RF
The cost you’ll pay for your procedure will vary widely based on your current face and neck presentation, the problem you are hoping to treat, your desired results, and whether AccuTite, FaceTite, or Morpheus8 will be used. You’ll discuss detailed pricing with our team after you and your doctor have determined your unique needs and treatment plan.
Recovery From Skin Tightening
Your recovery process is going to depend on your individualized treatment plan, though you can rest assured that all modalities require very little downtime before you can return to work or other activities.
Typically, Chevy Chase Face patients who choose AccuTite for skin tightening, generally have a short recovery time, during which they experience some minor swelling and bruising at their treatment sites. After a few days, these side effects subside, and patients can return to work and their social schedules.
Dr. Porter and Dr. Sitapara’s FaceTite patients can expect some tenderness, swelling, and bruising for up to 5 days after their procedure. Most patients who choose FaceTite report back to work or their other normal daily activities about 7-10 days after their treatment date.
Finally, Morpheus8 patients tend to report tightness at their treatment site for the first hour after treatment. After that, they may experience some swelling and/or bruising for a few days.
Is Skin Tightening Painful?
We have multiple options for pain management with these modalities, but most patients feel little to no discomfort during the treatment due to the numbing agents we administer.
For those of our patients who may be extra concerned, we are happy to offer the Pro-Nox nitrous oxide delivery system to help ease anxiety and any discomfort during your procedure. This system helps to calm the nerves and does not interfere with driving afterward!
How long does Morpheus8 last?
The results of Morpheus8 last one to two years, although if combined with Facetite our patients can achieve even longer lasting results. Morpheus8 involves radiofrequency microneedling to improve the texture and quality of the skin while simultaneously tightening and erasing fine lines. Dr. Porter and Dr. Sitapara can also adjust the settings to selectively melt fat in the jowls and neck. Although the results of Morpheus8 are not permanent, it is a great way to maintain your skin health and reverse signs of aging without surgery.
How does Morpheus8 and Facetite compare to a Facelift?
Morpheus8 (Radiofrequency Microneedling) with Facetite technology can be used to improve wrinkles, strengthen skin tone, and contour the fat compartments in the face and neck. It can tighten the skin while simultaneously remodeling the fat of the jowls and neck. Morpheus8 reviews show the improvement in the jowls and neck without surgery. It is ideal for those with mild to moderate skin laxity and results last one to two years. A deep plane facelift and neck lift in comparison, is better suited for those with moderate to severe skin and soft tissue laxity. The results of a deep plane facelift and neck lift last for ten to fifteen years and can naturally correct more significant signs of aging.
